Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager's primary duty is running the floor, which entails supervising staff and ensuring that Guests have an amazing experience. Specific duties include:

  • Manage floor staff. Ensure they know what is needed and are doing their jobs correctly. Assign breaks, address questions, and otherwise support and guide the floor team (approximately 2-10 people at any one time).
  • Ensure great Guest experience from the moment people enter to when they leave.
  • Oversee group events, coordinating with the Corporate Events Manager, the booking team, and the Controller.
  • Monitoring Guest levels and capacity, to ensure that we maintain great Guest experience while also fully utilizing available capacity when we have demand
  • Handle difficult situations as they arise, with support of GMs and the CEO, but generally acting as the final decision-maker.
  • Assist in staff training and development, working closely with the Leadership Team.
  • Open and close the business, including handling cash, inventory, etc.
  • Other value-added projects, developed between you and the Leadership Team.
